Surface polish process can highly improve the performance of the cylinders and therefore grinding becomes the best option to obtain narrow tolerance and concentric positioning of cylinders diameters.

After polishing, cylinders and moulds may be hard chrome electroplated to obtain a corrosion-resistant coat and facilitate metal cleaning and increase hardness.

When replacing worn parts is pricey, hard chrome plating at a minimum charge becomes an invaluable option as it prolongs metal life and gives it a lustrous and bright look of a new metal piece.

Industry chrome plating is used to reduce coefficient of friction thus prolonging mould and cylinder life while obtaining clear printing and laminates, or sheets of equal thickness.

In addition to cylinder electroplating with hard chrome we also provide plasma, ceramic thermal spray coating.
